You need to be careful with an unlicensed car, because if you are stopped by the police in a car that does not have the right to carry passengers, they will fine not only the driver and confiscate the car, but they also have the right to fine tourists as well, since they used an illegal taxi, and the car who pays taxes is out of work. The fine is 487 euros per person. In July 2012, in Milan, tourists were deprived of Schengen visas for this and fined. In Rome in March 2013, 52 cars were arrested. HOW TO DETECT A LICENSED VEHICLE?
